In 2023, GAZ-SYSTEM commenced the work on ESG Policy which is to complement the Company strategy. It will include specific goals and targets to be achieved by 2033. A commitment to this has been made by the Company’s Management Board in the form of the ESG Declaration set out below.

ESG DECLARATION

Being aware of the state of the environment for the quality and standard of life of citizens and the threats posed by climate change, we undertake to develop the GAZ-SYSTEM ESG Policy, which will contain the goals and tasks to be achieved by 2033. We will create a document that will send a clear message about our commitment to sustainable development, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, efficient use of natural resources, promotion of ethical and responsible management, and support for local communities and a sustainable economy. The ESG Policy will provide the basis for actions that will contribute to building a more sustainable future and meeting our commitments to the environment and society. We pledge to develop the document by the end of 2024.

The declaration constitutes a part of the document  “Declaration of Creation of the GAZ-SYSTEM ESG Policy”. The ESG Policy document will refer to the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015. The work on the Policy will draw on the good practices contained in the ISO 26000 international standard.
