GAZ-SYSTEM actively participates in the work of international and national organisations of an industry, regulatory, technical, research, business, and analytical nature.

International organisations

GAZ-SYSTEM’s involvement in the activities of international organisations stems from the legal obligations in place in the EU, the Company’s active participation in the energy transition and serves to build a coherent industry position.

Cooperation in the context of EU regulations concerning the natural gas market and the directions of the EU energy policy aimed at the development of a decarbonised gas economy:

  • European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG),
  • Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE).

Technical and research cooperation on innovation, new technologies and industry standards:

  • European Association for the Streamlining of Energy Exchange (EASEE-gas),
  • European Gas Research Group (GERG),
  • Marcogaz Technical Association of the European Natural Gas Industry (MARCOGAZ),
  • European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CEN/CENELEC).

Cooperation on the use of low-carbon energy sources:

  • Hydrogen Europe (HE),
  • European Clean Hydrogen Alliance (ECHA),
  • Biomethane Industrial Partnership (BIP).

Monitoring of processes and trends in global markets:

  • International Gas Union (IGU),
  • International Energy Charter (Industry Advisory Panel – IAP),
  • CEDIGAZ,
  • European Energy Forum (EEF).

Regional cooperation aimed at the integrated gas market development:

  • South-East European Gas Initiative (SEEGAS).

Cooperation with organisations in the field of LNG:

  • International Group of Liquefied Natural Gas Importers (GIIGNL),
  • Baltic Ports Organization (membership until the end of 2023).
