Materiality matrix
The analysis of material topics to be reported was conducted in October 2023 as part of a dialogue with stakeholders, which included internal stakeholder panels (conducted in accordance with the AA1000SES standard) and a questionnaire survey among external stakeholders.

The topics discussed were consistent with those identified by the GRI. The identification process took into account the analysis of the 2022 materiality matrix and topics relevant from the perspective of energy industry leaders. Thirteen topics of particular relevance were selected in five areas: market environment, governance, natural environment, society and workplace.
Compared to 2022, the list of relevant topics has slightly changed. The stakeholders identified the following as the most relevant topics: occupational health and safety, employment conditions and GAZ-SYSTEM’s transmission capacity and development plans. In the previous report, the topics were: security of transmission processes, business continuity and infrastructure, environmental impact.
