Human Rights Policy

Human Rights Policy was adopted by GAZ-SYSTEM Management Board in September 2023. It is available on the Company’s website and known to employees and other persons associated with the Company. The Company undertakes to conduct its business in a manner consistent with:

  • the Constitution of the Republic of Poland;
  • The Charter of the United Nations,
  • the Universal Declaration of Human Rights;
  • the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights;
  • the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.

We object to any and all forms of discrimination in the Company, including intolerance based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or disability. The Company is committed to creating and maintaining the principles of fairness and equality in the working environment where every employee is treated with due respect and is provided with opportunities for development.

GAZ-SYSTEM strives to hold active dialogue and collaboration with stakeholders, including employees, local communities, suppliers, customers, and business partners. It also supports initiatives and projects that contribute to promoting human rights, raising labour standards and public awareness in this regard. The Company is committed to regular reporting of progress on its Human Rights Policy, monitoring the solutions adopted, identifying areas for improvement, and taking appropriate corrective actions to continuously improve its human rights engagement.

Code of Conduct for Suppliers

The document has functioned for years within the Company as a set of attitudes and business principles expected from GAZ‑SYSTEM’s suppliers. The guidelines described therein have been developed on the basis of national and international law, in particular: The Constitution of the Republic of Poland, the Labour Code and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The code is addressed to suppliers, contractors and associates of the Company who are involved in the performance of orders for GAZ-SYSTEM. The Company reserves the right to assess and audit the application of the Code as part of contract performance, and in the event of its breach – to suspend cooperation with defaulting entities.

GAZ-SYSTEM requires from its suppliers the proper organisation of working time, guaranteed fair conditions of employment or cooperation with individuals and timely payment of wages and other benefits to employees and subcontractors. Furthermore, the Company expects from its business partners fair treatment of employees irrespective of their gender, age, disability, race, religion, nationality, political beliefs, union affiliation, ethnic origin, religion or sexual orientation.

GAZ-SYSTEM categorically opposes any form of exploitation and requires its suppliers to comply with the prohibition of child and forced labour. Code Of Conduct for Suppliers is available on the Company’s website.
